The Synod Assembly is always a hectic three days. Please help simplify your life--and that of your fellow assembly-goers--by following through with this list of last-minute reminders.
- Put the orange parking pass in your windshield when you leave home Thursday. Don't take it out until you drag your weary self and dirty laundry back in the house on Saturday.
- We can get in the residence halls only after 3 p.m. on Thursday. If you're one of the many folks coming earlier than that, please park and come straight to registration in Clayton Hall. You'll have ample time around the dinner hour to check in to the residences.
- Make out your $100 room key deposit check to the University of Delaware before you leave home. You'll get it back when you return your room key Saturday.
- Bring the assembly materials you received in the mail. You'll be given a notebook to hold them once you arrive.
- Now is a good time to be sure you've read the Bulletin of Reports. Click here to the BoRe main page, with its options for downloading, printing and/or simply reading.
- Bring money for offering at worship. Recipients of this year's offering: the synod's Lutheran Adolescent Recovery Center and Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center, Wilmington.
- You'll need to check out of the residence hall before coming to Saturday morning's session. One good thing, however, is that you no longer have to schlep your sheets and towels across campus. Simply leave the used linens in your room.
- And finally, the countdown clock is reading days now, not months. Do you know where your parking pass is?
