2009 Assembly Information
The Minutes Book of the 2009 Delaware-Maryland Synod Assembly is being made available electronically this year. You may read it online, or download and print it. If you do download it, be aware that it is 72 pages long, formatted as an Adobe PDF file. Additionally, if you download it, remember that you always have the option to print the entire document or just specific pages. Because of privacy concerns, the synod roster is not included, and some details have been omitted from the leadership directory. Click here for the 2009 Minutes Book.

A few notes
- Online registration is now open. At that time, you will register for both the assembly and meals. You may register as a voting member or visitor. You may register as an individual, or you may register your entire delegation. You will pay at the time you register using your choice of secure methods. Be sure to read the first assembly mailing for details of registering as a lay voting member.
- You will register directly with the hotel of your choice. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at three nearby hotels:
- Holiday Inn Oceanfront (67th and oceanfront)
- Quality Inn Oceanfront (54th and oceanfront)
- Flagship Oceanfront (26th and Broadway).
Prices vary, and hotels will offer special rates for extending your stay beyond the assembly. Make your reservations early to get the hotel of your choice.
- Assembly attendees will receive free bus passes in order to travel to and from the hotels and the Convention Center.
- Once again, the synod hopes to encourage more younger members to participate in the assembly. If your congregation sends a voting member under the age of 35, the registration fee will be discounted to $95. This applies to all voting members, including clergy and lay rostered ministers.
- A limited number of scholarships are available for voting members only. Requests for scholarships should be sent in writing to Linda Chinnia, DE-MD Synod, 700 Light St., Baltimore, MD 21230-3850.
- New this year: a one-day Visitor's Pass. Please encourage members of your congregation to come learn more about the assembly.
