Youíre probably thinking, whatís a LARS? LARS is short for the new Lutheran Adolescent Recovery School. LARS is an outgrowth of DE-MD Synod Bishop Jerry Knocheís concern for the lack of treatment for young people who are battling drug addiction. A Launch Team is raising money to start the school, and Salem Church, Catonsville, Md., is hosting a fundraiser to support that effort. The fundraiser will be an evening of music provided by the professional musical group A Little Knight Music. The musical trio is composed of vocalists Dennis Knight and Nancy Asendorf, and pianist Bill Bevins. For over 15 years they have provided Broadway reviews for special occasions. They are donating their services to provide an evening of music. Tickets will be available at the door but please know that seating is limited.
