New class announced for Lutheran lay leaders

(01-29-07)

What are the characteristics of a Christian in the twenty-first century? How are Christians called to witness in this confusing period of time? Theological Encounters for Lay Leaders (TELL), a program of the Baltimore Urban Regional Partnership, invites you to join the Rev. Dr. Eric Gritsch in discovering answers to these and other questions. Dr. Gritsch, author of "A Handbook for Christianity in the 21st Century," will lead a new TELL class using his book as a guide to explore the issues, challenges and goals for modern Lutheranism. Classes meet Monday evenings, from 6:30 - 9 p.m., from Feb. 5 through Mar. 26, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1900 St. Paul Street, Baltimore. Course fee: $35. Financial aid is available. Questions?
