Rostered Ministers in Transition
The Rev. C. Andrew Carr has been called as Pastor of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Hampstead, Maryland, and began September 11, 2016.
Seminarian Beth A. Clementson has been called as Associate Pastor at Evangelical Lutheran Church Zion, Middletown, Maryland, and began her call on September 6, 2016. Beth will be ordained on October 23rd at Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster.
The Rev. Terri D. Driver-Bishop has been called as Pastor of Emmanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, Adamstown, Maryland and began on September 1, 2016.
The Rev. Andrea J. Ernest has been called as Pastor to Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Sharpsburg, Maryland, effective July 1, 2016, and will transfer to the West Virginia-Western Maryland Synod.
The Rev. Wolfgang D. Herz-Lane has received a call as Senior Pastor at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Cary, North Carolina, effective November 27, 2016, and will be transferred to the North Carolina Synod.
The Rev Cornelius O. O’Farrell has been approved by the Synod Council for a call as Interim Rector at St. Johns Mt. Washington, an authorized congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, within the Springwell Assisted Living Residence in Baltimore, Maryland, effective July 20, 2016.
The Rev. Sharon F. Kelly has completed her interim work at All Saints Lutheran Church in Baltimore, and has been granted on leave from call status by the Synod Council effective September 1, 2016.
Diaconal Minister Mary E. Lasits has resigned from her call as Manager of Donor Development at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services in Baltimore, and has been granted on leave from call status by the Synod Council effective July 23, 2016.
The Rev. Jason F. Burns has completed his interim work at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Hampstead, and has been granted the roster status of on leave from call from the Synod Council as of September 26, 2016.
The Rev. Peter Naschke (retired) is now working with the Mt. Joy-St. Paul Harney Parish as their interim pastor.
Retired Diaconal Minister Judy Bergeson has officially transferred to our synod from the Northern Illinois Synod. Judy has been here for several years helping the folks at Evangelical, Frederick.
